Actor Jung Hyung-ho recently opened up about his 12-year relationship with singer and actress Choi Soo-young, member of Girls Generation, touching fans with his sincere and affictionate remarks.
In a recent interview with a korean media outlet, Jung Kyung-ho was asked, “What is another pillar of your life besides acting?” Without hesitation, he responded:
“It’s so obvious, but the center of my life other than acting is Choi Soo-young.”
The actor continued by sharing how much Soo- young’s presence has influenced his personal and professional life.
“I think I actually act because of her. I want to look good to her and let her know that I’m a good person and a good person and a good actor. Besides acting , what makes me the happiest is Choi Soo- young’s happiness.”
The couple has been together for 12 years, quietly building a strong relationship away from unnecessary spotlight. Jung Kyung- ho didn’t hesitate to credit Soo-young’s patience for the longevity of their relationship:
We’ve known each other for a long time and see each other the most. Thanks to her patience, we were able to meet for a long time. I always make mistakes. I don’t do that anymore, but I drink a lot and get drunk (laugh).”
When asked about the importance of a long-term partner, he said:
“We’ve had the same dream of becoming good actors since long ago, so it’s even more special.”

Jung Kyung-ho will star in the upcoming MBC drama “Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin,” premiering on May 30. The comic fantasy action drama tells the story of labor attorney who sees ghost and solves labor-related cases. It’s written by Kim Bo-tong (“D.P.”), Yoo Seung-hee (“My Love, MyBride”),
and directed by Lim Soon-rye (“Little Forest”).
Choi Soo-young will appear in the tvN drama ” Please Quit Drinking,” set to air starting May 12.
